Chakra means "wheel" in Sanskrit. Chakras are the inner energy centers located on the midline of the body, receive and send energy throughout the body. There are seven major Chakras in the body and they govern our physical and psychological properties. Chakras would contribute to our well being. When Chakras are open, and enlivened with the energy, our physical body, mind, soul, and spirit becomes healthy and in balanced. In yoga and Ayurveda, foot bath is recommended to open and balance Chakras. Foot bath brings immediate stress relief and your mind will be connected to your body in better balance.

1. Find a room where you feel comfortable and nobody disturbs you.

2. Put a few drops of essential oil or a couple of spoon of salt in your foot bath.

3. Make your room light dark and light candles. Get a relaxation music if you need.

4. Soak your feet and enjoy meditation as long as your feel, maybe for 10 - 20 minutes.
* During meditation, if you put a candle in front of you and look at the light, it would be nice for you.

5. Breathes and relax. During meditation, put your hands on your legs with palm upwards, and take deep breathes.

In Yoga and Ayurveda, daily foot bath is recommended to balance Chakras.
After the foot bath, you may feel that "I am really relaxed", "I am safe", "I become better balanced" "my mind is clear" "I am inspired".
